In the real-time videoinstallation The Koran, Cairo airport 10.23am 13-01-03 we experience three people reading the Koran sitting next to eachother. They appear as three different interpreters, all three with a different relation towards the holy script, yet united by their activity.

The sceen is creating uncertainty about the documentary-level of the film. The enviroment - an anonymous airport - creates a scenery of transit, transition and departure in contrast to a script claimed to be the origin, untouched by time.
